Many millennial men face the pressures of balancing professional demands, relationship expectations, and personal growth—all while striving to maintain their mental well-being.

Work stress can take a toll on your overall health and happiness. Juggling deadlines, relentless responsibilities, and workplace dynamics can leave you feeling drained. Meanwhile, relationship issues can amplify these pressures, whether it's communication problems, unmet expectations, or the struggle to connect with your partner. These challenges can lead to feelings of frustration, anxiety, and loneliness.

But there is hope. Joining a men's support group can provide you with a safe space to express your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Here, you'll meet others who share similar experiences, allowing for open discussions about work stress and relationship hurdles. Together, you'll explore coping strategies, gain new perspectives, and foster connections that can lead to healing and growth.

Who is this group for?

This group is for BIPOC men ages 28-48 looking for a place to vent with like minded men and feel supported. While receiving relatable tips from BIPOC therapists trained to give evidence based coping tools.

What will the structure of the group be?

The group will meet weekly. Each week group facilitators (licensed & pre-licensed therapists) will facilitate real talk discussions for men to vent experiences in today's society. Common struggles, support and "cheat codes" to navigate challenges. Therapists will provide evidence based tips.

What topics are will be discussed?

Things that have created stress for you lately. Why these things bother you the way they do. Ways to problem solve and cope, the difference between the two, and when to implement one vs the other. By the end of the group. you'll receive techniques and personalized stress management plans.

What are the expectations for participants?

Attend sessions weekly. The goal is to create a dependable space where you and your peers can openly receive support (without judgment ). Being a man in touch with emotions can be isolating enough, try not leave your group mates alone if you can avoid it. Other asks: respect and confidentiality.

How much does it cost to meet?

Each group is $65/weekly. The initial 10-15minute screening/consultation is free.

How does registration work?

Sign up today to schedule a screening/consultation. Once screening & consent forms are completed, you’re all set to join us.

Is the group virtual or in-person?

The group is virtual, allowing you to meet from the comfort of a physical space that makes you feel most comfortable.

Are there additional resources or activities?

Groups will provide e-worksheets for reflection, tips, and a personalized stress management plan. As well as an the option to continue meeting with therapists for individual sessions post group (to maintain progress made). The first individual session is offered at an introductory rate.

What if I don't feel comfortable sharing initially?

That's fine, that happens sometimes. Facilitators have created icebreakers to help break up any potential awkwardness.

What is the cancellation policy? Are refunds allowed?

In the event that you can't attend a group meeting, we ask that you provide 48 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee (the full cost of group). We do not provide refunds for group sessions.

What if I missed the initial start date?

You can still sign up, you’ll be added to a waitlist for another cohort. We’ll contact you when the next group is close to starting.
